Frist round of acts announced for New England Americana Fest!

Sept. 27-29 in Harvard Square

The New England Americana Festival is growing again! This year the magic number is 64. That means we will be inviting 64 local acts to hit our stages  in Harvard Square. Amazing, right?
Over the next few weeks we will be announcing new acts! Here's the first four. 60 to go!

Fiddlin’ Quinn
We are very pleased to have Fiddlin’ Quinn and his Big Folks Band back to the Festival this year. Last year, the pint sized (only 8 years old!) Quinn left folks in awe of his great fiddle playing and expansive knowledge of traditional music at the outdoor stage. With his lighting quick playing, fun sing-along set and great backing from the Big Folks band, they are sure to be a “must see” again this year at the festival.

Jenee Halstead
There are few songwriter/performers out there that have “it”. Whatever “it” is, Miss Halstead has it in spades. A little bit country, a little bit folk pop, and a whole lot of heart and emotion,  make this songwriter stand out in a crowd of many guitar toting, song singing artists. We are truly excited to add Jenee to the line-up this year.

Our brothers from the south (Rhode Island that is) join us for their third festival performance this year.  A 4-piece “alt-country” outfit wearing the many hats of bar room rock n’ roll, folk roots ramblers and Americana troubadours, these guys have a live energy that will keep you movin’ and groovin’ all night. Incredible vocal harmonies, great guitar licks, and a chemistry that only a band of true friends can pull off are just a few of the many reasons we are thrilled to have these festival veterans back for another round.

Chasing Blue
There is something incredibly romantic, yet hardcore about bluegrass music. Trading solos, dancing around one microphone, and intricately being a master of your instrument. Chasing Blue is no exception to those rules: a group of excellent musicians playing the style of traditional music to a T, while adding their own unique spin on song content and arrangements.

Help New England Americana Grow!

Our Pledge Music campaign is still in full swing! Check-in for news from behind the scenes, exclusive music videos from the studio where we're recording the second volume of the New England Americana Project, and a ton more.
Funds from the campaign help us pay bands, provide staging, and bring attention to our music community as a whole. Please help if you can!
