There's an army invading Citywide Blackout! Country musician Annie Brobst brings a few members of the Annie Brobst Band Army with her to talk about her upcoming show with Miranda Lambert, what brought her to Boston seven years ago, and the country scene here in New England.

Fellow Salem native Kate Eppers has a lot to talk about, between the recent release of her debut EP, "The Wishing Well" and work with local film as an actress and musician, she's got a lot on her plate, and we're just getting started. Plus, she knows all the cool places in Salem, something host Max Bowen loves talking about.

Author and filmmaker Mikel Wisler is back on the show for his new short, "Empathy O.D."It's a look into the near future, where people are so connected with their technology that they need to take drugs just to feel something. If it seems familiar to what's happening today, that's something that Mikel and Max take some time to discuss.

Vegan chef and writer for The Vegan Pact Lisa Kelly explains what the vegan lifestyle entails, and shares some food with Max and Jeff. We also talk about the benefits to going vegan, how it differs from being a vegetarian, and the classes she holds on how to make vegan desserts, salads, soups, and more.

Michael Ficara of the comedy group Dorks in Dungeons is next. He shares the origin of this group, now in their third season, the roles they take on, and some of the shows they've done since they first got together.

Wireless Mike Flynn rounds out the show, and he's got a lot to say! As the co-founder of the New England Music Awards, there's a lot happening over the next few months, including the NEMA Con, some shows, and the main event itself in April.

Author Brian Coleman returns to talk about his new book, "Check the Technique, Vol. 2." In this new self-published title, he explores more stories behind some of the most popular hip-hop artists to ever take the stage.

Dan Masterson rounds out the show with a look at his upcoming performance in the finals of Last Band Standing and what it took to get there.

Rock foursome Band Without Hands played an amazing live set and talked about their soon-to-be-released album and upcoming shows later this month and on Halloween.

JoeG and Wireless Mike Flynn previewed the Last Band Standing competition, which showcases 24 great local acts out of 500 submissions. This is part of the New England Music Awards, an annual showcase of the best New England musicians.

Alex Navarro played a few acoustic tunes from his new solo project and discussed the challenges of becoming a full-time paid musician. He's also in the process of recording a series of music videos as part of the BC Campus Sessions.
