Rhode Island Author Expo, Part 1

Author Hannah Goodman

Welcome to the first podcast from Citywide Blackout's coverage of the Association of Rhode Island Author's annual expo. In this episode, I sit down with Hannah Goodman to talk about her book, “Till It Stops Beating,” the story of Seventeen-year-old Maddie Hickman’s senior year, a mix of good, bad, and WTF.

Next up is K.D. Mason, who never really planned to get into writing and now finds himself with a successful long-running mystery series. He talks about how the first book came to be and how the series and its characters evolved over the years.

Jack and Mike from The Fictional Cafe, a site dedicated to featuring the work of writers of all kind, give everyone the story of how this collection of great writers came to be and how they go through the many submissions received on a regular basis.
