May 14, 2015: The Bostonian/Meg Stafford/Zanea Morisho/Divertir Publishing

We open the show with filmmaker Michael DeMasi and actor Paul Held to talk about the film, "The Bostonian," a thriller set in our own backyard. They tell us about the making of this great movie, and what else lies in store for these greats of the local film world.

Meg Stafford joins us talk about her book, "The Topic of Cancer," a look at her own battle with cancer and how she found strength from those around her. She's also got a new book in the works about her trip to Nepal. With the recent tragic earthquake, she felt it was right to chronicle her trip and help to raise money for those in need.

All the way from Los Angeles, R&B/Dance artist Zaena Morisho joins us over the phone to give us the scoop on her upcoming project "Rock the Natural." It's part of a new monthly segment where we introduce you, the listener, to artists from outside New England.

Ken Tupper of Divertir Publishing joins us to talk about the newest releases of this Salem, NH-based company, as well as the trials and tribulations of the indie author world. He's shared so many great books with us, and we can't wait to talk about them!
