The rap/rock band Last Call plays a live set and tells us about their performance at the Last Band Standing finals at the Hard Rock Cafe. This South Shore-based five-piece also has a show on Halloween.

The indie-rock five-piece Drunken Logic will be performing as part of the Berklee showcase at the CMJ music festival next weekend, and they've also got a mini-tour beginning on Oct. 20.

Matt Martino, a regular on Citywide, returns to talk about his Armory of Horror haunted house, which he designed himself. It'll be at the Armory in Somerville starting Oct. 24.

Author Brian Coleman returns to talk about his new book, "Check the Technique, Vol. 2." In this new self-published title, he explores more stories behind some of the most popular hip-hop artists to ever take the stage.

Dan Masterson rounds out the show with a look at his upcoming performance in the finals of Last Band Standing and what it took to get there.
