Host Max Bowen flies solo this week, and his first guest is electro singer-songwriter Anda Volley. Over the past year, she's made amazing headway in her career, and she has a huge announcement about an upcoming performance this May. She also has new music to share, and a special contest for her upcoming show on April 30.
Matthew Wade of My Silent Bravery also has new tunes to showcase, a remix of his previous album, "Diamond from Coal." He's worked with some incredibly talented people, including Boston's own Shea Rose.
Author Deborah Irving shares the story of hew book, "Waking Up White." It chronicles her perspective of racism and racial tensions in her hometown of Winchester, and later, working in Boston. This is an issue which we can all help to improve on.
Steven Porter is next, and as the president of the Association of Rhode Island Authors, founder of his own publishing company alongside his wife. and with two books to his name, it's hard to imagine how this man sleeps. He gives us his take on indie publishing in 2015 and how it's gotten better.
