Citywide Blackout, Dec. 8: Tara Skurtu, Laura Cortese

Poet Tara Skurtu
We open the show on the brand new Dig Radio with poet Tara Skurtu, an amazing writer back from a research trip to Romania, and talk about the inspirational writers she learned from. She also wrote a beautiful poem for the family of Trayvon Martin.

Later in the show, we welcome folk/rock artist Laura Cortese and talk about her upcoming tour and her bandmates in The Dance Cards. She's got a slew of shows coming up, plus a recent album release, and we talk about that and a lot more.
